A core element of any community sports group is the people that donate their time and energy to the sometimes thankless tasks that happen behind-the-scenes.
Volunteers are a critical part of community sports at a local, state and federal level. They’re relied upon to establish, develop, co-ordinate and maintain many sports experiences throughout all parts of the country; including regional and rural Australia.
Our guest this week is Sue Noble, the Chief Executive Officer of Volunteers Victoria. She shares with Kendi Burness-Cowan her perspective on sports volunteers in regional Australia. This episode of Regional Voices is sponsored by Commonwealth Bank - Regional and Agribusiness Banking.
