GambleAware Week is an annual initiative to increase awareness of gambling and gambling harm in the NSW community. We worked with the Office of Responsible Gambling to help get the word out about GambleAware Week, in the lead up to a big weekend of sporting finals and spring racing.
We developed their key talking points and messages, secured media interviews and briefed their spokespeople to ensure they were comfortable in their media interviews throughout the week.
In conjunction with this, we also helped the team announce their partnership with Cricket NSW, banning advertising at grounds where NSW Big Bash League matches are played. We helped secure strong media coverage across print, online, radio and TV, in what was already a big week for sport coverage.
