Alex - I’ll be spending the weekend down the coast at my grandparents and with the rest of my family, catching up over red wine paired with Easter eggs! And hopefully, fitting in time go for some walks in this beautiful Autumn weather!
Ali - I will be visiting family over the Easter weekend and intercepting any chocolate gifted to my toddlers. They’re too young! Then heading off to lovely Port Stephens for a few days of R&R, which will include towing the tots in their new bike trailer (to work off the Easter eggs).
Karen - Easter will be at home in Tamworth looking after the horses, cattle and kids. An egg hunt where small, solid eggs are strategically placed around our house paddock, stables and driveway has become an Easter Sunday tradition, along with watching the football. Family pool, table tennis and monopoly competitions are also likely.
Kendi - I love to bake, so I’m spending the lead up to Easter whipping up all sorts of unhealthy treats, including some cute Easter cookies. Come Sunday, it will be all about food and family – hot cross buns for breakfast, roast dinner, an obscene amount of chocolate in between, and we may squeeze in a token walk with the kids and dog to work off one billionth of the calories
Sue - In amongst everything else business and family, I’ve been busy with a 3-week reno and moving house this past month. It’s been hectic. When I first set eyes on our new home in early January, I imagined myself on a hammock, in a perfect spot on the deck, in the sunshine. The hammock went up this week so I will make time to recharge, read a book, and sway a little in the sun this Easter.
