There are lots of high profile organisations and personalities in the agriculture sector, and that can mean it’s hard for the supply chain, including the hundreds of businesses at Sydney Markets, to get their fair share of attention. Over the past five years, we have worked with Freshmark to strengthen its public voice, build credibility with government and media and demonstrate value to members.

That included securing a high-profile media platform for Freshmark’s CEO alongside then-Premier Dominic Perrottet during the NSW election campaign in 2023, reinforcing the organisation’s authority at a critical moment.
Alongside media engagement, we’ve supported the development of detailed industry submissions and advocacy materials to ensure Freshmark’s priorities are clearly articulated and aligned to government processes.

In some of its biggest wins to date, Freshmark was directly referenced in the final report and recommendations of the Supermarkets inquiry 2024-25, strengthening its position as a trusted representative voice, and last year was able to secure major changes to the 2025 NSW Food Regulation, delivering reforms that will save industry millions of dollars.
